when sleep has hit a rough patch, many parents find themselves trying to remember what it was they were doing last month that made their baby's sleep seem so smooth. we lay awake at night anticipating the next wake up and end up on google reading about how we should have sleep trained our baby at 4 months old and now they'll probably never be able to initiate sleep independently because we missed the boat. (absolute rubbish, by the way)
rather than heading in armed with an array of internet gathered techniques to try in fear that you may never sleep again, sometimes it's really helpful to go back to the basics.
